Found this image today on Facebook via Paleo Spirit. It makes an excellent point: treat yourself to healthy meals, not garbage. The staples of a healthy diet are meats, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and healthy fats (coconut oil, macadamia nut oil, olive oil, grass-fed butter, etc). Throw in some Caveman Bob’s Paleo BBQ Sauce, and you’ve got yourself one heck of a healthy, delicious meal.
So think of your body as a well-oiled machine when filled with the above healthy foods. Now, If you treat your body like a trash can and eat garbage, imagine how the machine begins to look and feel— not good. It breaks down.
